Abstract (EN)
The Ottomans ensured the security of eastern border during period of Yavuz Sultan Selim for his reason Sultan Suleyman aim at dominating the West. The Habsburg began to rule in the Holy Roman Germen Empire as a result of their marriage policies. Sultan Suleyman wanted to participate in Europan politics and there were events in Europe, therefore, Charles V and Sultan Suleyman started to struggle in Hungary. Sultan Suleyman focused on Europe after he dominated Belgrade. Hungary was experiencing economic and political difficulties, as a result, it was an easy target for the Ottoman. Hungary was divided by the battle of Mohac. Part of Hungary became a state dependent on the Ottoman, consequently, the Ottomans became to support Zapolya. Carl V supported his brother Ferdinand in order to ascend the Hungarian throne. In other words, Hungary was divided into two parts. First part of Hungary was administered by Habsburg and the other part of Hungary was the reign of Ottoman. This process led to various wars between the Ottoman Empire and the Habsburg. French- Ottoman alliance aganist the Holy Roman Empire changed the diplomatic stability. Logistical impossiblities determined the situation of vii wars. Good relations were established between Habsburg and Ottoman with the treaty of 1533, accordingly, Charles V and Sultan Suleyman focused on different problems.
