Abstract (EN)

This thesis focuses on the work called Ceberûtname, written during the reign of Suleiman the Magnificent (1520-1566), which is containing mystical subjects and considered to be dedicated to Sultan Suleiman. The work has not been published before and a work with this name could not be found in the related literature sources. Therefore, the analysis and evaluation of this work, the only copy of which has survived to the present day, is of importance in terms of determining the sufi understanding and controversial issues of that period and gaining them into the literature. In this study, the main terms of the subjects and views in the work have been determined, the definitions of religious and mystical concepts in the work have been given and presented in their forms. The work is written in Turkish language and gives the impression of being written in Anatolia. Reflecting the language of its own period and making a selection of important issues provide that reflecting the religious, mystical, philosophical understanding of that times. In addition that, it will constitute a resource for those working in the fields such as Turkish Language and History and the History of Sufism Based on this idea, the original text of the work and its translation into modern Turkish Language and Turkish Alphabet was presented in the thesis.
