Abstract (EN)

This study contains chaos applications used in communication systems and chaos based modulation and demodulation techniques. This thesis also describes a software package which is designed by using MATLAB Graphical User Interface (GUI) in order to provide a tool to be used for chaos-based digital communication systems. The basic working principle of this software package (called as Chaos-based Digital Communication System Simulation Package) is to perform simulations of chaos-based digital modulation types under the different conditions such as distinct chaotic oscillators (Chua, Lorenz, Rossler, Duffing) and channel noise effects. The main purpose of KSHSBP is to give preliminary information about chaotic communication by using visual interface with graphical and numerical results. It also provides to learn basic concepts of chaos-based digital modulation techniques. As a result, KSHSBP is a virtual laboratory and can be used for educational purposes as a visual instruction tool.
