Abstract (EN)

This study focuses on maximizing user satisfaction from closed office units thattake place in academic environments. Knowledge Based and Value Basedarchitectural programming approaches shape the structure of this study. In thisframe, a post-occpancy evaluation-based model was established and appliedin a setting. The model was formed due to the readings in theory andimplementations in recent scientific research regarding office environments,POE, Environment & Behavior Studies and architectural programming. Closedoffice enviroments are considered under three headings which are; (1) technicalissues (2) spatial use and (3) behavioral aspects. G.U.F.E.A. Academic StaffBuilding was focused for the application of POE, a questionnaire testing spatialsatisfaction was applied to 170 academic staff. Findings indicate that behavioralaspects were the least one besides that all three performances were assessed ashighly satisfying by users. The study recommends criteria for futureprogramming studies.Sience Code : 802Key Words : architectural programming, post- occupancy evaluation, closedofficesPage Number : 127Adviser : Ast.
