Capitalism and fear

This study aims to present how Subject is in the sphere of production and consumption in capitalist society. It also develops subjectivity discussions of Marx, Foucault, Lacan, which is basing on fear and anxiety. Currently, while capitalist system is providing the its? invariability, it transforms human being with itself. The reproduction of capitalist system does not bind human being itself with the relations of production, but also it binds the realm of consumption with the influence varying the commodity production. In that sense, the progression of capitalist system increases the levels of fear and anxiety in society. This study discusses the conditions of increasing fear, and anxiety levels. Since, within the changing purpose of working, people inevitably take part in working process in order to survive. In that study, ıt ıs stated that on one hand the relations of production have changed into authority relations, status anxiety occurs when work comes to a state of status. On the other hand, within the flexible production model, the job insecurity created anxiety and fear. Furthermore, As Baudrillard states consumption is not for providing the neccesities, it becam itself a neccesity. That is declaration of consumption society. In that sense, it is tried to be shown that, within not only human being desires for itself, but also, it feels to obligate the offers of ?rational? attitudes. That harmonization process causedfear and axiety in modern human being by being obliged to consume products. We have established that subject is no longer exposed to objects, indicators, and pictures. We have arrived in disenchanted World. While the society of spectacle are running away by leaving everything to representation, how the subject stayed in insignificance World. When Marx represents us the socialism idea. He puts the self-determination of value by subject as significant reason for desiring and establishing socialism. It is determined that, there is a subject who has the delusion of basing its? existence while possesing, and its? absence while consuming. It can never self-determine the value in the society which is surrended by production and consumption. It is highlighted that Show business became the place not only where the subject thinks, it has founded its? own value, but also where subject loses itsel, and self actualize itself in order to get its? own reality while it becomes another one.
