Abstract (EN)

Nonprofit organizations, based on voluntariness in society, autonomous, are the organizations whose aim to establish the welfare of society with generating alternative solutions the problems of society. According to the last data of 10.06.2016, T.R. Ministry of Interior Department of Association, the number of active association is 109.72. The level of orientating in nonprofit organizations to the basic principles of corporate governance as fairness, transparency, accountability and responsibility become more of an issue for donors. The purpose of this study is manifestation the importance of the corporate governance in nonprofit organizations. Study is qualitative research and designed as case analysis because of the accessing of the research documents and face-to-face interviews easily. Within research, with the semi-structured interview technic, the meeting was realized in the organization. As a result of the interviews and document analysis it has been identified the orientating of the basic principles of the corporate governance in organization is medium-level. In the end of the study, the part of the improvement within corporate governance basic principles were determined and shared with organization.
