Liver Ischemia Reperfusion Effect of Different Doses of Sugammadex on Hepatic Damage in Rat - Produced Rats Objective: The aim of this study is to investigate biochemically and histopathologically the effect of different doses of sugammadex on the liver on rat liver ischemia reperfusion injury induced rats. Materials and Methods: In this study, 36 Wistar Albino rats were used. Rats were randomly assigned 6 groups of 6 animals per group. Groups were treated with sham, c ontrol, ischemia reperfusion (I/R) - sugammadex 16mg/kg, I/R - sugammadex 96mg/kg, I/R+sugammadex 16mg/kg and I/R+suga mmadex 96mg/kg. The liver (I/ R) model was created by clamping the hepatic pedicle. All rats were anesthetized and the vein was opened via a 24 G intrauterine route from the tail vein. Sham group was waited for 30 minutes after laparotomy and 1 m l of intrav enous (IV) saline (0, 9% NaCl) was applied. The control group received 240 min reperfusion after 30 minutes of ischem ia with I/R+sugammadex 16mg/kg and I/R+sugammadex 96mg/ kg groups. These groups were given 0,9% NaCl, 16mg/kg and 96mg/ kg sugammadex IV, resp ectively, with a total volume of 1ml at th e end of the ischemic period. I/R
