Red pine (Pinus brutia) industrial afforestation works done at the Karai̇sali forest management directorate

In this investigation, the red pine (Pinus brutia) Industrial afforestation studies established in 2020 in Karaisalı Forestry Directorate, Beydemir, Hacılı, Yörükler, Tümenli Forestry Operation Chiefs were examined. The growth in height and diameter of the seedlings in the 248, 155, 147, 79 sections of the Karaisalı Forestry Operations Directorate, Beydemir, Hacılı, Yörükler, Tümenli Forestry Operation Chiefs, where we carried out the study, were examined. In the investigation, based on the divisions of 4 different chiefdoms, it was tried to determine how some morphological features changed compared to red pine 1+0 tube seedlings in terms of aspect, altitude, site, bedrock and soil characteristics. As morphological quality criteria, sapling height, root neck diameter and seedling survival percentages were used. At the conclusion of the research, it was established that there existed a distinction between the seedling heights according to the results of the variance analysis of the seedling heights at the end of the three vegetation periods after the seedling planting. As a result of the Duncan test, it was found that the seedlings in the section 147 of the Yörükler Forestry Operations Directorate and the seedlings in the section no. 155 of the Hacılı Forestry Headquarters had the best seedling height. Saplings in division no. 79 of Tümenli Forestry Operations Directorate and saplings in division no. 248 of Beydemir Forestry Operations Chiefdom are in the same group and have lower values than the other two divisions. At the end of the three vegetation periods, based on the analysis of variance findings regarding the root neck diameters of the seedlings, a significant difference was determined between the root neck diameter increments of the seedlings. According to this, the middle diameter was measured as 1.81 cm in the 147 division of the Yörükler Forestry Operations Directorate, 1.64 cm in the 155 division of the Hacılı Forestry Operations Directorate, 1.42 cm in the 248 division of the Beydemir Forestry Operations Directorate, and 1.40 cm in the 79 division of the Tümenli Forestry Operations Directorate.
