In the thesis, which consists of an introduction and three parts, the Karakalpaks are discussed in the Introduction. Here, information about their names, dates and languages is given, the concept of riddle is introduced as a term and content, the concept of riddle in Karakalpaks is examined as a term, and information is given about the Karakalpak riddle tradition. In the introduction, information is also given about the tradition of asking riddles in the Turkish world. In the First Chapter, Karakalpak riddles are examined in terms of shape. It has been seen that the riddles do not acquire a shape feature. Karakalpak riddles were established in poems and prose as in the riddles of other Turkish tribes. vii However, riddles in poems are in the majority. There is no shape feature in such riddles. Riddles can range from two lines to 25-30 lines. Most of the riddles in poems do not have a standard measure. In the riddles we have examined, there are examples of half rhyme, full rhyme and rich rhyme, but the rhyme is weak. Despite this, harmony was achieved with rhythmic pauses and alliterations. In the Second Chapter, Karakalpak riddles were evaluated in terms of content. Although it has been seen that Karakalpak riddles are very rich in terms of content, the abundance of riddles about sky beings is remarkable. The moon, sun, star and sky have been the subject of riddles. The third part of our thesis consists of texts. The text of the 1267 riddles in the above-mentioned book was first transcribed from Cyrillic letters to Latin letters, according to the order in the book, and then transferred to Turkey Turkish. In the conclusion part, our findings in our study are included. In our thesis, a small dictionary has been added for words that we could not find the equivalent of in Turkey Turkish and some imitation sounds.
