Abstract (EN)
The aims of the study are to determine present vegetation and land use of Karapınar Wind Erosion Control Station which faces severe drought and wind erosion due to climate and natural conditions and to establish of sustainable land/soil plan. Thus, short and long term carbon management plans are tried to be designed accordingly. The study revealed that tillage farming is determined to be not suitable for organic carbon however grazelands with relatively high soil carbon required amelioration. The success of the carbon management is related to integrated basin management. For realisation of this aim is to undertake agricultural and animal husbandry activities via the anthroscape approach.
