Özet (EN)
The referees, who continue their leisure time in the busy competition pace, evaluate their time well, contribute to both the effective and efficient ness of the individual and the effectiveness of the sports branch. Examining the relationship between time management behaviors and leisure time attitudes of karate referees is the purpose of this research. The working group of the research consists of a total of 301 referees of 126 women and 176 men, 126 women-national-international, actively engaged in arbitration at the Karate Federation of Turkey. The validity and reliability work of the Time Management Questionnaire (TMQ) developed by Britton and Tesser (1991) was not filled by the scale of the validity and reliability work of the Leisure Attitude Scale (LAS), which was adapted for our country by Alay and Koçak (2002) and developed by Ragheb and Beard (1982), to the volunteer referees participating in the study, Akgül and Gürbüz (2011). Statistical analysis of data was carried out with the SPSS20 program. The findings were discussed in the perspective of Leisure-time attitude and time management behaviors. In the analysis of the data obtained; frequency, average, standard deviation, Pearson Corelation, ANOVA and MANOVA testing were used. The Cronbach Alpha internal consistency coefficient of this study was calculated as 0.98 for LAS and 0.91 for TMQ. The findings were discussed and interpreted in the accompaniment of the literature. As a result of the analysis, it was observed that the LAS differed significantly in the subsize of "behavioral" only in terms of "leisure time evaluation status". When the results are examined, it is revealed that they evaluate their leisure time in behavioral subsize by reading newspapers, magazines and books and participating in art activities. It has been found that there are significant differences in the lower dimensions of TMQ in terms of variables such as "gender, age, marital status, education status, refereeing level, weekly leisure time proficiency, leisure time evaluation status". When examining the relationship in the subdimensions of the LAS and TMQ, it was concluded that there was a significantly negative relationship between time spenders and LAS subdimensions. As long as referees continue to lose time traps and time-consuming habits, it has been concluded that there has also been a decrease in their attitude of leisure time.
