Abstract (EN)

Nowadays, cancer is counted as one of the most significant health issues in every countries, especially developed countries. Cells which are taken place in organs or tissues are divided irregularly. At the end of this reproduction, malignant tumors named cancer are generated. In 2015, approximately 8.8 millions of people lost organs owing to cancer. To understand the importance of the circumstance, we can say that cancer is responsible for every single deaths out of 6 nowadays. According to recent studies, G4-DNA structure have been found on telomerases. These structures which are categorized in nucleic acid groups and are rich in terms of guanine, named G-quadruplex. Carbazole based telomerase inhibitors, which stabilizes G-quadruplex structures consists of overlaping of telomer's DNA, which interacts with DNA in π-π way, are protonatable molecules that have aromatic nitrogen or aromatic structure and are taken place in the third or fourth circle in polyromantic structure. In this thesis study, on the basis of hydrazide compounds, 9-methyl-9H-carbazole-3-carbaldehyde and 4-Pyridinecarboxylic acids are used to synthesize new carbazole-derived compounds that have tricyclic structure. These new compounds can become telomerase inhibitors. The analysis of structure of synthesized compounds carried out by (FT-IR) and the spectroscopy of proton (1H-NMR) magnetic resonance.
