Abstract (EN)

Scope of the thesis, polymers of polycarboxylic acids which not only have high metal ion binding capacity but also used as inhibitör in corrosion were synthesized. Molecular weight of the polymers was determined by using Gel permeation chromatography (GPC). With detecting of melting point and IR are characterized. Fe3+, Co2+, Cu2+ and Ni2+ ions holding capacity of polymers "hamphshir" according to the test was made. The inhibitor effectiveness of the polymers synthesized and sodium benzoate was investigated in the environment of 0.1 M hydrochloric acid solution. Experiments, by using Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) the technique, were performed 105-10-3 Hz frequency range by applying a 5 mV amplitude in the open circuit potential. The resulting data Nyquist, Bode and Phase angle on diagrams was shown and polarization resistances of the polymers are compared with sodium benzoate used as inhibitors in the market. Key words: The inhibitor effectiveness, Gel permeation chromatography (GPC), Metal ion binding capacity
