Abstract (EN)
In this study, the development of conductive elastomer nanocomposite materials using carbon based nano-filling materials: development on electrical, physical and mechanical characterization and sensing performance under static, instantaneous and repetitive dynamic loads is aimed. The study was carried out in two steps. In the first step, carbon black filled rubber blends were prepared in a certain formulation, reinforced with calendered cord yarns at various cutting angles to form composite materials. After determination of the parameters affecting the fatigue life of the prepared nanocomposite by Taguchi method and determination of the fatigue life, the optimum process conditions were determined and the second step was reached. In this step, elastomer nanocomposites reinforced with carbon allotropes (carbon black, graphite, graphite, carbon nanotube and etc.) known as conductive fillers are prepared. Such nanocomposites include: (a) The physical, rheological, internal structure analysis of cord fabric / graphene filled rubber nanocomposites and tests for determination of electrical properties under cyclic loads, (b) Experiments to improve the sensory performance of the developed graphene filled rubber nanocomposites due to crack formation under cyclic loading, (c) Experiments to characterize the fatigue behavior of modified and unmodified multi-walled carbon nanotube filled graphite rubber nanocomposites under a constant amplitude have been carried out by correlating both the production conditions for series production and application areas.
