Özet (EN)

Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymers (CFRP) are advanced materials widely used in various applications such as aerospace and automotive industries due to their outstanding physical and mechanical properties. One of the important machining processes is drilling, especially in the aerospace industry where high quality and surface integrity of components is required. Minimum Quantity Lubrication (MQL) cooling is an innovative machining technique that optimizes the use of cutting fluids. In this thesis study, the effects of nanographene-added MQL cooling method on hole quality in the drilling process of aviation CFRP composite plates were examined. Experiments were carried out using 3 different advances and 2 different graphene nanoplatelet additives, and surface roughness, delamination and diameter were measured at the end of the experiment. As a result of the experiments, the best results in terms of surface roughness and delamination were obtained in the experiments using 0.05 mm/rev feed with 0.5% graphene nanoplatelet (GNP) added cutting fluid.
