Abstract (EN)
In the recent years, strengthening of RC beams using CFRP plates are coming more popular depends on development of civil engineer material technology. Due to lightweight, high strength, corrosion properties and good fatigue, CFRP become an alternative strength material. The models prepared by using experimental and numerical studies proved that bending and shearing strength of RC elements increased in case of using strengthened method. The various developed analyses models with CFRP for strengthened RC elements produced stress distribution, load-displacement curves and failure modes in details In this study, LUSAS package program using finite element method techniques was used for four type models having different cross-sections, spans and amount of reinforcement. Nonlinear analysis graphically produced some results which are load-displacements curves, normal and shear stress on the section, crack mechanism and failure mode
