Abstract (EN)
In this study, it was used for the control of hyperglycemia that the extracts from the obtained kindling wood of pine trees in Sprague Dawley rats by the streptozotocin (STZ) induced Type-2 diabetes. 2.5 monthsold 50 male rats were used in this study, Rats were assigned to groups including control, diabetes, and diabetes+pine kindling. In the beginning of study, weights of allthegroups andfastingbloodglucose (FBG) levels were measured. The values (FBG) of all groups were determined between 85-95 mg / dl. Except for the control group rats, intraperitoneally 45 mg / kg given streptozotocin were formed type-2 diabetes. After formation of diabetes in drinking water of animals avarage 400 g / L was added pine kindling.Throughout the experiment for all groups were fed ad labium. During the study, blood glucose levels were weekly measured. In all measurements, the blood sugar value of control group was determined between 82 to 112 mg / dl. Blood sugar values of the diabetes group were observed to be between 172 and 259 mg / dl. Diabetes formed and given pine kindling water in the group of the change in blood glucose was found to be lower compared to diabetes. Blood glucose values were weekly measured, and average of % 65-85 of the diabetes group which given extract of pine kindling was determined to be close to control group values. In vitro studies, bovine, porcine pancreas, fungi and bacteria derived from amylase on enzyme activity of the pine extracts haven't been observed the inhibitory effect. Also disaccharides α-glucosidase enzyme that hydrolyzes on kindling of the pine was found to not have an inhibitory effect. It is showed that in our study on rats, reduction of blood glucose in diabetic rats and to be similar to control group value, the glucose in the blood stream are taken effecttively by the cells in tissues. It can be said a natural product in preventing of hyperglycemia that as type 2 diabetic individuals pay attention to diet and when they use the pine water extract, However, before being used or not and of toxic effects and it must be known their heavy metals contents. Keywords: Type-2 diyabetes, male Sprague Dawley rats, hyperglycemia, starch, disaccharide, amylase and glucosidas enzymes.
