Abstract (EN)
SUMMARY CAREER PLANNING AND TRAINING (CASE OF TOYOTA) Keywords: Career Planning, Training, Career, Career Management. Training programs in organizations cover the educational activities that are performed to get the trainees achieving the preset goals. The individual development need of an employee is determined in the process of career planning. The main duties of the human resources management in an organization include the utilization, motivation, management and maintenance of the man power, and development of the employees as to use all their potentials. The career plans allow integration of the employees with the organization, and placement of the right person to the right job. A career development program mainly aims at informing the employees on the career path, and developing the career steps to improve the labor efficiency. The organizational career development has a long-term approach to the personnel achievement and career expectations. However, the training and development activity is focused on the performance and job effectiveness in an average time frame. The employee training and development and the career development are closely related and supplementary to each other. The technological changes and developments in combination with the changing jobs and labor qualifications and the future organizational requirements have led the organizations to give importance to the career development and career planning. Today, the human is considered to be the most important factor in the efficiency and efficacy of organizations, in this context, it is important to learn and take into account the attitudes of individuals, since the attitudes may be reflected on the behaviours; the behaviours affect the quality of production and service provided. This study was conducted explore attitudes of the Toyota employees on the career planning and in-service training, both of which are used in the human resources management with the final goal of developing and improving the human resources. This study covers theoretical information on the career planning and in-service training, and talks about the system and practices applied in the Toyota. Furthermore, the attitudes of employees towards the career planning and in-service training are elaborated. IX
