Abstract (EN)
In this study, multidimensional relationships among career satisfaction level, work engagement level and job performance of employees were examined. The data for the research were collected by using the survey technique of quantitative approaches. In this context, a total of 416 valid questionnaire were obtained from bank employees between February 5, 2021- May 10, 2021. The results exhibit that work engagement and career satisfaction levels of the bank employees are lower than their job performance perceptions. In addition, it was determined that dedication dimension of the work engagement variable has an effect on career satisfaction, while the vigor and absorption dimensions have significant effects on job performance. Besides, it was also revealed that the career satisfaction level has an impact on job performance. The alternative model which developed for the study shows that the sub dimensions of work engagement, including vigor, dedication and absorption, have covarience correlations with career satisfaction. Taking into account of this new model for the future studies is important by means of to better understand the relations among the examined variables. The findings emphasized that job performance, one of the main factor affects the success of organizations, should be considered and evaluated together with the work engagement and career satisfaction variables.
