Dr. Tuğrul KANDEMİRIn organizations, to be understood of the main important component which effectsthe organization is human, human motivation oriented approaches are increasing andrenewed with each passing day. The one of the most current and most popular approachis career planning and management. People wish from enterprises, at the preliminarystage instead of the budget and social facilities, position which provides their careerdevelopment and an atmosphere consonant with this position. Especially, young peopleare in a selection tendency to provide a good career opportunity. Enterprises don?tpresent only work security like 1900?s to their employees, they work to present a goodcareer opportunity.The basic principle of Taylorism production vision which substitutes the employeeseach other was changed during the 20th century and, person has become the mostimportant component organizational efficiency and productivity.In the information age, competitive conditions and management paradigms arerapidly changing. Organization must renew the current relationship betweenorganization and employee for to keep abreast of a rapidly changing. Organizationalvcommitment, is as a result of relationship between organization and employee, statesthat employees? power of their feelings. For this reason, organizations provide thesatisfaction and it?s as important as producing good and services because organizationalcommitment feelings affect the organizational performance positively. In this context,organizational commitment decreases the undesirable results like, late for the job,absenteeism, severances. Furthermore, organizational commitment contributes thequality of goods and services in positive way.In this study, career management, organizational commitment and the effect of thecareer management on organizational commitments subjects are studied. Within thecontext of the study, made a case study on marble sector and analyze the careermanagement on organizational commitment.
