SUMMARY (KARL RAIMUND POPPER'S DEMOCRACY APPROACH) (KEYWORDS: Open society, falsification, liberal democracy, social democracy) Popper's view of democracy is in a reflection status of basic logic and method in science and politics. Popper finds the definition "Government of people by people", far away from reflecting the fact and thinks that it has a weak feasability. According to him, classical and liberal democratic approachs include democracy, domination, indulgence, freedom and economic independence paradoxes. Popper doesn't specially emphasize the word democracy. He says that, if the name of the system is dictatorship, he can also use that word. The most important thing for him is the content and the action form of the system. More than being a way of governence, Popper describes the democracy as a social period with the name "Open Society". Popper takes the democracy not only in the meaning of selection of governments but in an approach which intends to be a democratic society ideal as a social period. He accepts the components of liberal democracy, which refute the majority paradox but accept the desicions of majority (without taking it as a rule or certainty statement), giving a special importance to criticism and opposition; as the institutions of "Open Society". However, he approaches to the Social Democracy more than Liberal Democracy. VIII
