Abstract (EN)
PID controllers are the most commonly known applications in motor control due to thesimplicity and the effective solutions they provide. A decision on the main three parameters:Proportional, Derivative and Integral constants, completes the controller adjustment. It is critical to determine the correct parameters as there are a huge range of theories andmethods documented regarding the above mentioned problem, however none of them offeracceptable results applicable for every application in use.In this thesis it is proposed that, without delving into deep formulae theory but following theway of basic PID logic, the new method is easily derived and is not required to know thetransfer function of the system to be controlled. It can be used under changeable loads and available for most of the applications as a plug-n-play device. As a result, it is a solution of not a method with constant coefficients but a method includingself-tuning type algorithm comprising with the variables derived and updated by the systemdynamics and the change in load.Nevertheless it gives reasonable results, but not the best; however the main advantage is itseasy to use option and availability of being used in most of the real systems with noadjustment required. Keywords: PID controller, PID parameters, Self-tuning control, control under changeableload.JURY:1.
