Abstract (EN)

The aim of this work was to determine the trace elements present in cauliflower. For this purpose differential pulse polarography has been used. With this method it is possible to determine many elements in trace quantities, it is a fast and reliable method. There is no need for long and tedious separation and pre concentration procedures. For the determination of trace elements first optimum working conditions has been studied for 11 elements including Fe(ffl), Cu(II), Pb(II), Ti(IV), Se(IV), Cd(IT), Cr(m), Mo(VI), Zn(H), As(III) and As(V) Samples at different seasons, in total eight samples, are taken, after drying they are digested with acids. In summer 3, in winter 2 and in spring 3 different samples are analyzed. Zn, Mo and Se are determined in 1,0 M HAc/Ac" solution at pH=2, Cr at pH=4, Pb at pH=6, Fe, Cu and Ti at pH=7 and EDTA, As and Cd at pH=2 and EDTA. Varying results are obtained for different samples which were related to digestion time and waiting time.
