The alternative therapy choice for Carpal Tunnel syndrome (CTS) is massage therapy.This study is planned to compare the effects clinic and electrophysiologic parameters in CTS for `?Madenci-Hand-Massage-Tecnique??(MHMT) application.Our study contains 70 patients who applied to Gaziantep University Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation that diagnosed of CTS. The patients are randomized to groups of massage therapy (n=35) and splint therapy (n=35). The patients are interrogated for demografic specilies and there are not found any expressive differences between the groups.Hand-splint treatment is given to both groups to use them at nights, in addition to the massage treatment group,3-5 minutes hand massage treatment is applied and described by a specialist doctor once a week, and the rest of the week patients did it by themselves. Also both groups are given tendon and nerve slinding exercises. The patient are increased the value of global patient assessment (GPA), global doctor assessment (GDA), hand pinch strenght (HPS) scores and electronervephyiologic parameters at the start and 6th week of the treatment.At the end of the study, the both groups had statistically expressive improvement on GPA, GDA and HPS scores.If we compare the groups at the end of the treatment at the same save scores; massage treatment group is found out statistically meaningfull beter than the splint treatment group.To take care of electroneropyhologic parameters, massage treatment group is found out statistically meaningfully recovered, but there is not found out a recover in splint treatment group.Our studies show that the massage- treatment with MHTH for the CTS can accepted a trustworthy and effective method on the clinic and electroneropyhologic parameters.Key words: Carpal tunnel syndrome, Massage therapy, Massage to hand with technique of Madenci, Splint.
