Abstract (EN)

The efficacy of both mycorrhizal fungi (Glomus etunicatum, G. fasciculatus, G. mosseae, G. intraradices ve Gigaspora margarita) and induce resistance chemicals (Salisilik Asit-SA, DL-ß-amino-n-butirik asit-BABA and asibenzolar-s-methyl-ASM) against Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. niveum (FON), the causel agent of Fusarium wilt on watermelon were studied. The mycorrhizal fungi were able to colonize between 66.7 ? 100% on the watermelon roots. Gigaspora margarita and G. etunicatum was the most effective mycorrhizae fungus on the plant growth. The G. fasciculatus and G. mosseae were having a little effect on plant growth but the G. intraradices have almost no effect. The mycorrhizal fungi efficacy on FON diseases change between 48.4 ? 58.1% and the Gigaspora margarita was the most effective species. The SA had no efficacy on mycelia growth of FON, but ASM and BABA had 13 and 25% inhibition on mycelial growth at 1000ppm consantration respectively. The induce resistance chemicals were tested for efficacy of inhibition of FON diseases by the spraying (500 and 1000ppm) and with irrigation water (100 and 200g/kg soil) on watermelon plants in potsASM have the maximum inhibition on the disease both with spraying and irrigation water applications. The spraying applications of ASM inhibition rate of the disease change between 61.3 ? 64.5% and the irrigation water application inhibition rate change between 67.7 ? 77.4% .The SA and BABA efficacy were lower than the efficacy of ASM.
