Abstract (EN)
From creation to the present day, man has found a figure to express his joys and sorrows in every age and period he has lived in and has tried to express himself with a unique expression. The most important feature of folk dances played by all walks of life is that they have no manager, are passed down from generation to generation, and are anonymous. For this reason, culture expresses the melody, lived events, human structure and feelings of a region. In the study, the history of Kars province, its geographical structure, climate, social life, traditions and customs, folk dances, local clothes, musical instruments, folk songs, manis, folk song and mani notes were examined. The culture of our city varies compared to other provinces and regions. Because the customs and traditions of Kars were influenced by the slight differences between the Turkish tribes living in the region and the migrations from the Caucasus. By emphasizing this diversity; A study was carried out on the clothes worn by the local people, musical instruments, minstrels, local artists and, accordingly, local folk songs, poems and dances
