Abstract (EN)
People with disabilities account for more than 10% of the world?s population. This is equivalent to approximately 650 million people. They need to be specially supported with the social rights, especially the social security rights so that they can lead their lives with dignity. The subject of our dissertation is the social security rights of the people with disabilities. In this dissertation the regulations about the social security of the people with disabilities in Turkish legal system are clarified. However these regulations cannot lead the required protection. That?s why we also explain the approaches to the disability and the social security rights of people with disabilities; and make suggestions for the Turkish Social Security Law.
