Abstract (EN)

This work which is titled as "The Turkish Expounding and Translations of Qaseedah al-Burdah consists of the interpretation of expounding and translations tradition which have very distenguishing place in Classical Turkish Literature. At first, in this study, it was given some knowledge about text hermeneutics such as expounding, paraphrase (footnotes) and interpretations. Then some knowledge abut Qaseedah al-Burdah (also named as Qaseedah al- Bur'ah) which was very influenced in Ottoman society for ages, and its poet Muhammad ben Sa'eed al-Busiri (608/1212-697/1297-98). In addition a research was made about the reputation of qaseedah among the Turkish people. » In the conclusion of researches in Turkish libraries twenty Turkish expoundings (of seveteen prose, three verse) and twenty-three translations composed as verse and six Turkish roastings (takhmees) of Qaseedah al-Burdah were established. These works were examined in the wive point of form and contents and some knowledge was given about their autors. In the study, in addition the certain differences between Arabic and Turkish expoundings were shortly explained. In the end of this work, Lâlee Ahmad b. Mustafa's Qaseedah al-Burdah expounding and Qudsee-zadah Qadree's verse translation were added.
