Abstract (EN)

In the research, it is aimed to reveal the vocabulary of Qashqai Turkish as a whole. In this context, the vocabulary of Qashqai Turkish has been studied in a holistic way within the framework of the works written in Qashqai Turkish on the basis of Esedullah Merdânî Rahimî's Dictionary of Qashqai, and within the framework of master's and doctoral theses on Qashqai Turks and Turkish. Document analysis, one of the qualitative research methods, was used to determine the vocabulary of Qashqai Turkish. The vocabulary of Qashqai Turkish was classified thematically under two main headings and evaluated in terms of vocabulary. The thematic vocabulary of Qashqai Turkish has been examined under three main headings: Words Related to the Universe, Words About Life and Living Beings, and Words About Social Life. Words About the Universe are presented as eight sub-titles. Words on Life and Living Things are examined under five sub-titles. Words on Community Life were evaluated under seventeen sub-titles. Qashqai Turkish Vocabulary is given under nine sub-titles: Nouns, verbs, adjectives, pronouns, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, reflection and quotations. All vocabulary was evaluated in the quoted words section and it was determined that 72% of the vocabulary was of Turkish origin. However, it has been noted that 17% of the vocabulary is Persian and 4% is Arabic. Although this study has some limitations in terms of lexicography, it is an original study as it is the first research to examine the vocabulary of Qashqai Turkish in Turkey and is an important step for a comprehensive Qashqai Turkish Dictionary to be written in the future.
