Abstract (EN)
In the current study, signs of stopping and ibtida which is one of the most important topics of qira'at and tecvid in "Lataif al İsharat" written by Qastallani who lived in X. century and had many works in several fields was investigated. Firstly, general information about Qastallani' life, his masters, students and works was given. Then, the topics that Qastallani investigated were handled through headings. It was also mentioned about the definition of the concepts within the topics of signs of stopping and ibtida, these topics' importance, resource, goals, types, general rules of signs of stopping, problematic situations about doing signs of stopping and ibtida, the ideas of qurra imams, special signs of stopping practices on some words, obligatory and jurisprudence of signs of stopping and ibtida, symbols that Qastallani used as a sign of stoppin and his resources and methods while discussing the issues.
