Investigation of the tourism potential of Kastamonu Cide district

Tourism has attracted attention as an important sector in increasing the incomes of developed and developing countries in recent years with its contribution to the economy. Therefore, in order to attract more visitors and ensure sustainability, broader seasonal planning and diversification of touristic visits based on an approach that preserves resources increases tourism revenues. In this context, it offers solutions for the emergence of the current tourism potential of Kastamonu Cide District and the development of tourism. In order to discuss this issue in detail and in detail, the qualitative research method, which is a product of interpretive philosophy, was used. Since this study is aimed at revealing the potential records of Cide District, it was important for this talent to receive expert observations and experiences. Within the scope of the research, data was collected face to face through a part-time interview formula in order to determine the potential of the district. The data of the results of the meetings are subject to qualitative descriptive analysis. Showing the results of the data obtained from the study, ensuring the provision of tourism services, marketing tables for tourism marketing and determinations regarding technical assistance and training status are included. Field research and the answers received revealed that the tourism attractions of Cide district are sufficient, but the infrastructure facilities are inadequate and the district cannot be marketed as a touristic product. Finally, trying to determine the reasons for the lack of research, promotion and advertising and the available resources.
