Abstract (EN)

The systematic start of Folklore Studies in Turkey is about a century after Europe. The studies of folklore, which were scattered until the Republican period, started with the works of the leading institutions and associations established in these years. Studies in the field of public science in Kastamonu also show parallels with studies in Turkey. The activities of Kastamonu Community house between 1930-1940 and the activities of the HARS Association established by Kastamonu high school can be considered as the first works. The aim of this study is to establish an explanatory bibliography of folkloric studies in Kastamonu from the emergence of folklore as a branch of science until today and/or of studies in Kastamonu which can work interdisciplinary with folk science or which can be evaluated in these branches. In this context, literature review method was applied in folklore and its sub-themes; and evaluations have been presented under four headings: books, theses, articles and papers. According to the Turkish folklore Archive guide prepared by the Department of National Folklore research of the Ministry of Culture and put into practice in 1976, "HAGEM 100 classification" was used as 100 coding. In this thesis, a total of 594 studies, including 126 books, 33 master's, doctorate thesis, proficiency in arts or science thesis, 354 articles and 81 papers, were examined.
