Abstract (EN)
This study was done between June 2015 and May 2016, to determine water bird species and their population density in Beyler and Karaçomak Dam Lake. Point count method was used to survey the bird species. In this study, it was determined 6 Order, 10 family, 22 water bird species in Beyler Dam Lake and 6 Order, 9 family and 17 water bird species in Karaçomak Dam Lake. According to each family, numerical distribution were; Anseriformes 1, Charadriiformes 3, Ciconiformes 2, Gruiformes 2, Podicipediformes 1, Suliformes 1 in Beyler Dam Lake and Anseriformes 2, Charadriiformes 2, Ciconiformes 2, Gruiformes 1, Podicipediformes 1, Suliformes 1 in Karaçomak Dam Lake. The most dominant species were Anas platyrhnchos in Beyler Dam Lake and Karaçomak Dam. The least species were Haematopus ostralegus in Beyler Dam Lake and Ciconia ciconia, Tringa nebularia in Karaçomak Dam Lake.
