Abstract (EN)
Credit cards, which are the most preferred modern payment tools in our age, have become an important building block of fast consumption with globalization. The increase in the use of credit cards brings consumption expenditures and thus economic revival. While the use of credit cards affects the microeconomic levels of households, it also has an important place in terms of the macroeconomic functioning of money supply and demand at the aggregate level. For this reason, the aim of the study is to examine the relationship between the socio-economic and demographic conditions of the households in Kastamonu and their credit card usage. The data of 406 participants obtained from the questionnaires collected for this purpose were used in the analysis. Frequency, reliability, validity, explanatory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, t test and ANOVA tests were applied with SPSS and AMOS programs. The conscious use, satisfaction of use and needy usage perceived by the user in credit card usage; It was examined whether there was a significant difference between variables such as gender, age, education, marital status, monthly income, monthly expenditure amount. As a result of the study, it has been determined that the education level and monthly income variables differ in the use of credit cards among card users.
