A research on the protection of cultural heritage and for the using in tourism (a case study of Kastamonu province)

"A Research on The Protection of Kastamonu's Cultural Herıtage and Using for Purpose of Tourism" is aimed at explaining the things that should be done in Kastamonu to protect the cultural heritage and the protection of cultural heritage in tourism. The definition and scope of the cultural heritage, tangible and intangible cultural heritage, the importance of cultural heritage, cultural heritage protection and preservation issues with tourism concepts related difficulties and definitions, types of tourism, where topics of research with cultural tourism in the world and Turkey literature studies were carried out. Depending on the purpose of the study; The population of the study consists of 22 people who are closely related to tourism in Kastamonu. Qualitative interview technique was used as a method in the research. The information provided by the participants were analyzed with descriptive analysis method. Some suggestions were made by evaluating the information obtained from the participants. At the end of the study, it was concluded that there are very valuable cultural heritage values in Kastamonu province, there are four seasons tourism opportunities in Kastamonu but the importance of these values is not understood. It is concluded that the importance of these values will only be provided by the local government, local people and various institutions and organizations as support. It is thought that Kastamonu will achieve the necessary value by advertising."
