Özet (EN)
Kastamonu Central Forestry Directorate, where the larch species, which is highly sensitive to fire, is located in Kastamonu Regional Directorate of Forestry, was chosen as the study area. Information was given about the geographical location of Kastamonu Central Forestry Directorate, the forest area, the villages in the area, the climate characteristics, the types of plant and forest communities. The forest areas of Kastamonu Forestry Operations Directorate were evaluated by considering the fire risk potential and fire hazard potential parameters. Among the tree species composition classes used in the assessment of fire risk and hazard potential, there are pure larch species, larch and other leafy species, larch and other coniferous species, clearings, damaged species, other coniferous and other leafy species. Within the Aspect Factor classes: Open areas, North facing, Northeast facing, East facing, Southeast facing, South facing, Southwest facing, West facing, Northwest facing. Among the closeness classes to the agricultural area, the closeness to the agricultural area is 0-100m, 101-200m, 201-300m and >300m. Within the proximity classes to the residential area, values above 0-100m, 101-200m, 201-300m and >300m are found. Among the categories of proximity to the road, values above 0-100m, 101-200m, 201-300m and >300m are found. Within the Development Age classes, there are clear areas, youth age, density age, thin wooded age, medium wooded age, and thick wooded age. There are open areas, damaged (<=10), closure between 11% and 40%, closure between 41% and 70%, and closures between 71% and 100% in Stand Coverage classes. Slope Factor classes include <=5% slope, 6%-15% slope, 16%-35% slope, >35% slope. Evaluation of fire risk and danger potential: Very low value, low value, medium value, high value, very high values were evaluated. Fire risk and hazard potential sensitivity classification maps of Kastamonu Central Forestry Operations Directorate were created.
