Determination of morphological characteristics of the growing of some fruit species and cultivars in the Kastamonu University's orchad

This study was investigated on 31 different varieties from apple, pear, cherry and plum which are planted at Kastamonu. In this study, leaves morphological characters, chlorophyll amounts, branch characteristics measured on the apple (16 varieties), pear (7 varieties), cherry (4 varieties) and plum (3 varieties) which are growth in Kastamonu University Seed Orchard. So, totally 12 characters determined according to fruits and varieties. In accordance with these results, it may be said that the apple saplings showed the best performance in the study field. The cherry took place within the first homogenous groups in terms of all values. Therefore, it may be said that the cherry showed the worst growth and development performance. The end of the study, maximum and minimum values are evaluated according to every fruits and varieties.
