Abstract (EN)

In this study we look at earthquake effects on buildings and how to solve structural designs against performance. In DBYBHY-2007 regulations, earthquake performance evaluation methods explained in short and give information about how to evaluate structural performance of buildings during earthquakes for only Sakarya province; According to developing constructural works regulations, two floors + basement ( h= 2.30 m) buildings performance determined by additional equivalence earthquake load method. If basement height level has been increased to normal floor?s, existing structural performance should also need to be determined by additional equivalence earthquake load method. On the soluted analysis results, structural models performance should be found out during the eartquake position and structural element models damages should be determined. The structural modeling is planned by packet program of İdecad 5 Enterprise 5.511 and also submitted to pushover analysis.Key Words: Pushover Analysis, Plastic Nonlinear Structural Analysis, Performance Method, Earthquake, Life Safety
