In this study, models of temperature dependent frequency shifts and line widths in crystals were handled. As a result of using this models, different equations were seen in the literature. For understanding the difference between these equations, first equations of vibrations on crystals were considered classically and quantum mechanically same time than subject of anharmonicity were handled. There are two models explaining anharmonicity in crystals. These are Cowley model and Klemens model. Some Adition made by Balkanski and Menendez to those two models were explained and temperature dependence of peaks were handled. In this study, equations derived by Balkanski are seen still valid; however, using derived new equation which reproduced by adding a constant to Balkanski equation was seen as unnecessary.
