Abstract (EN)

The aim of the study is to determine the capital requirement determined for the capital adequacy calculations actively applied in our country and the deficiencies of the current regulation calculated within the scope of Solvency II and to compare the results of the capital requirement. Using the data of an active participation insurance company in Turkey, the company's capital requirement was determined with the Financial Adequacy Capital Requirement (SCR) within the scope of Solvency II. Thanks to the research, it has been determined that it has a capital below the capital requirement calculated in terms of Solvency II regulation. With this situation, it has been determined that the risk sections are not sufficient in the calculation of active capital adequacy.
