Abstract (EN)

Aim of this study is to evaluate the participation phenomenon, which gains a foothold in alternative rural development patterns, pursuant to hierarchy and domination concept. Rural development politics and idea of Social Ecology, approach the praticipation phenomenon in two different ways, was compared in this study. Foresaid comparisons, generally was done pursuant to the economy, ecology, and gender topics. The aim here is re-evaluate the participation phenomenon which takes part in rural development politics by a different viewpoint. In this sense, Kavar Basin experience, which constitutes the alternative rural development pattern was chosen as an example of the study. Accordance with the general framework of the study, participation phenomenon, which gains a foothold in Kavar Basin experience, was investigated under the three title which are the hierarchy of center on local, hierarchy of market on local collective, and hierarchy of man on woman.
