Abstract (EN)
The effects of pH, concentration, temperature, adsorbent dosage, contact time and shaking rate to adsorption of cationic and reactive dyes in the dye solution by water hyacinth were investigated.The optimum adsorption conditions of malachite green, methylene blue, reaktive yellow 145 were determined as respectively 9-10, 9-10, 5-6 of pH, 2ppm, 2ppm, 5ppm of concentration, 0.2 g of water hyacinth dosage, 30 minute of contact time and 250rpm of shaking rate.The results of experimental studies concerning concentration and heat were applied to Langmuir and Freundlich isoterm equations. Freundlich isoterm constants were calculated at 293 K and 313 K. Taking Freundlich isoterm into consideration, adsorption was determined to be in favour of 293 K; nevertheless, reactive yellow 145 was found to be appropriate for Langmuir and Freundlich.
