Keywords: Traffic Simulation, Intersection, Comparative Analysis, Intersection Design, Aimsun, Vissim In road transportation in a city, the places where the accident probability is highest for pedestrians and vehicles are intersections, which are common areas where highways intersect and these intersecting roads are used together. In this thesis, it is aimed to ensure the continuity of the traffic flow at certain intersections that will be discussed in the scope of this thesis, to reduce the delays, and to provide the necessary and sufficient service level by keeping the speed at a certain value. During the study, traffic flow data were determined and the traffic flow at the intersections to be considered as an example was arranged and the results of these arrangements were compared with each other. The road network is the most important part of the road transport systems in a city. In this road network, for pedestrians and vehicles to benefit from the transportation service in the best way, the regulation of the traffic in this section of the highway is essential in terms of transportation engineering in terms of reducing the interruptions in the traffic flow, delays and increasing the transportation safety at the junction points where two or more highways meet, intersect and separate from each other. For this purpose, traffic flows at certain intersections in the province of Sakarya, which will be considered as an example, were determined by counts, and the traffic flow data obtained as a result of these counts were transferred to the computer environment, the techniques to be applied at these intersections simulated in the computer environment were tried to improve the traffic flow and the results of these regulations in different programs were analyzed comparatively.
