Abstract (EN)

The teacher?s of the children with mental retardation who continue mainstreaming education at preschool have a lot of problems. In early childhood period supporting the teacher give full facilities for integration. This also contributes to the development of all children. The aim of this study is arranged a program for support children?s development and tested the program. The teacher support program for mainstreaming education depends on the cooperation between families and teachers. This program has 5 subsections. These are; self-care skills, motor, social, cognitive and language development. The sample of the study consisted of two groups- experiment and control. There was no significant difference between the groups at the beginning when we analyze the results of pre-test. On the other hand we analyze the result of final-test there was a significant difference at the end of the study. These are t-test results. The handicapped children in the experiment group`s results are checked there was a significant difference between beginning and end of the study. The handicapped children in the control group`s results are checked, there was significant difference only in cognitive development section but the other sections are same with the beginning of the study. These are Wilcoxon Test results. In conclusion, Teacher Support Program for mainstreaming education is effective on all children?s self-care skills, motor, social, cognitive and language development
