Thesis)Nejdet BEŞBAŞGAZİ UNIVERSİTYNATURAL AND APPLIED SCIENCES INSTITUTEOctober 2006ABSTRACTThis study reveals Akarun House, which is one of the traditional houses inurban-site area in Kayseri, Kocasinan District, Gesi Town. The purpose of thestudy is to make relief projects of this registered civil architectural model, whichhas not been used since 1980s, to make restoration and to be producedresearches and projects of buildings for future generations. In this study, Gesiurban-site area, the environments of the house with its present condition areexamined.
