Abstract (EN)

In recent years, the establishment of solar power plants has gained significant importance in meeting the energy needs of our country. In this study, the production performance of a 1MW Solar Power Plant (SPP) connected to the existing grid in Kayseri province between 2017 and 2024 was evaluated daily, seasonally and annually. The energy production data obtained from the electricity meter located in the solar energy field in the plant is recorded as kWh. In addition, the air temperature, humidity and cloudiness rates are continuously recorded by the system. Hourly, daily and monthly requested reporting can be made with the Solarrelax simulation program. At the end of the study, it was determined that the highest annual energy production was 2036 Mwh in 2020 and the lowest energy production was 1091 Mwh in 2022. It was observed that the amount of energy production increased in the summer months when the air temperature increased seasonally, and the amount of energy produced decreased rapidly in the winter months due to the increase in the amount of clouds. Although the temperature change at half-hour intervals during the day and the instantaneous energy production amounts at the same hours are similar over the years, it has been determined that the production amount is affected by humidity and cloudiness rates as well as temperature.
