Abstract (EN)
Informal work is one of the biggest problems of Turkey and will be examined within the scope of this thesis. Informal employment is one of the deep-rooted problems that need to be solved in the country. Informal employment occurs when the services of persons are not reported to government institutions at all or are under-reported. As a result of this event, there is a great damage to the country's economy and the loss of taxes that Turkey can obtain. In addition, with the non-payment of SSI premiums, this institution comes to the stage of collapse and the health system of the country is also affected by this. In order to better understand unregistered employment, it is necessary to comply with the regulations in the Labor Law. Thus, the solution of the problem is reached faster within the framework of legal rules. Informality in employment is seen in small-scale enterprises. These businesses choose this way in order to be able to compete with large businesses in their business life. In addition, there is an intense migration to our country due to reasons such as war and economic problems in the surrounding countries. The incoming people are employed as illegal workers in order to earn their livelihood. This hurts both those people and the citizens of our country. The aim of this thesis is to provide a solution to the unregistered employment problem both for our country and for our citizens. Keyword: Unregistered Employment, Informal Economy, Employment, SGK
