Kazakh writer Abiş Kekilbayev's life and art examination of selected stories (analysis-translation)

Abiş Kekilbayev, who is one of the most important names of the both Soviet and Independence eras of Kazakh literature, has contributed to the development of storytelling in Kazakh literature especially with the stories he had written in the Soviet era. In our study, we have aimed to analyze the narrations of Abiş Kekilbayev and to set his importance and position in Kazakh literature with reference to this analysis. The general lines of our study were determined with the aim of reading Abiş Kekilbayev in the field of Turkish literature, enriching the literature of the Turkish world, and setting an example for the author's intellectual and scientific life. In the "Introduction" section of this study, which includes "Introduction", "Conclusion" and four main sections, a brief description of the story genre and its characteristics as a literary genre are given. In the "First Chapter", general information about the 20th century Kazakh literature and the development of the story genre in Kazakh literature in the same century is given. In the "Second Part" of our study, there are examinations on the life of Abiş Kekilbayev, his understanding of art and his works. In this section, the versatility of the artist, who has poems, stories, plays, novels and research articles, is emphasized. In the "Third Chapter", ten stories of Abiş Kekilbayev were examined and the author's understanding of the story was revealed. In the story analysis, first the story summary, then the plot, the cast, the time, the place, the point of view and the narrator, the language and style features are given. In the "Conclusion" section, a general evaluation has been made about this study that we have done on Abiş Kekilbayev's life, understanding of art and selected stories. The results achieved and the determinations made were conveyed.
