Abstract (EN)

From our primitive ancestors to modern humans, it is known that the masses used different objects as weapons in order to gain superiority over their opponents. Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) substances also appear as weapons known to be used as a service tool for primitive motives on the stage of modern humans. The Spartans in the Peloponnesian War, which took place in 400 BC, the first known use of CBRN substance; He did this by poisoning the Athenians in their hiding places using coal, sulfur and pitch. Since this date, the use of CBRN substances has increased, they can be produced easily with cheap costs; Because they are used by organized groups and states for purposes such as oppression, blackmail and mass control, they pose a high level of risk for living populations. It seems possible to talk about possible psychosocial effects on the victim, in the acute period and in the long term, as a result of the accidental or deliberate use of CBRN substances. In the researches, it has been seen that there is no comprehensive study on the psychosocial support process in the plans and regulations prepared for CBRN threat management in our country. In this study, with the aim of minimizing the possible psychosocial effects of CBRN incidents on the individual, it is aimed to provide a comprehensive proposal for developmental prevention to the general public and personnel in the pre-event period, remedial for the victims and field workers at the time of the incident, and psychosocial support for referral and assistance resources after the incident. In line with the targeted gains, the process was tried to be carried out in the direction of qualitative sources by using the document analysis research model in our study. Considering the results of our study, in order to prevent psychosocial risks stemming from the lack of social knowledge about CBRN, school-based preventive studies were designed on a developmental basis, the victim psychosocial needs form was adapted to CBRN, a sample activity was planned for mental health professionals working in the convalescent period, and a role in psychosocial support process stakeholders. In order to avoid authority confusion, duties and responsibilities were determined according to institutional support resources and suggestions were developed for all stakeholders of the process.
