Abstract (EN)

This study was aimed to determine the performances and structures of fishing gears used in the Kemaliye region of Keban Dam Lake between July 2012 - June 2013. In the present study, it was found that the most of fishing gears used in this region were monofilament gillnets. In addition, trammel nets and pinters for catching of crayfish were also used. During this study, total 14000 meters gillnets were examined in the Kemaliye Region (2000 hectar) of Keban Dam Lake. 12200 meters of its are monofilament and 1800 meters of its are multifilament. Total 900 meters trammel nets were also determined. In addition, total 1500 fyke net used for crayfish catching were examined. It was found that 15897 kg fish were catched in a fishing season from this region of Keban Dam Lake. It was 7,95 kg fish per hectar in a fishing season. In addition, it was determined that 7934 kg crayfish were catched in a fishing season (July- August- September 2012) from same region and this 3,9 kg per hectar.
